Gabriele Degano obtained the master’s degree in theoretical physics at the University of Trieste (Italy) in 2021 under the supervision of prof. Davide Guzzetti.

Since October 2021 he is a Ph.D. student in mathematics at the University of Lisbon, joining the Group of Mathematical Physics (Instituto Superior Técnico) under the supervision of Dr. Davide Masoero.

His research interests fall within the area of integrable systems. Specifically, he is interested in the WKB analysis and related asymptotic methods for ordinary differential equations in the complex domain with regular and irregular singularities and their application to the ODE/IM correspondence. Further interests include asymptotic analysis of isomonodromic systems and applications to Painlev ́e equations and Frobenius manifolds.
